2022年新加坡华语电影节将以什么形式举办？
How is SCFF 2022 going to take place?
2022年新加坡华语电影节将采取双轨（影院和线上）方式进行。我们将与嘉华院线及奥登剧场合作，在这些影院放映参展作品。同时透过邵氏线上平台KinoLounge放映电影，此平台的数码版权管理（DRM）严格，并根据美国电影协会的安全标准营运。
SCFF 2022 will be a mixed format of in-cinema and virtual events. We will be working with Golden Village, and Oldham Theatre for in-cinema screenings. For online screenings, we will be working with Shaw Organisation via their online platform KinoLounge, which offers studio-grade DRM and operates according to the Motion Picture Association of America’s security standards.

What is the procedure to purchase tickets?
本届电影节将于2022年4月14日（星期四）开始售票。电影节网站（www.scff.sg）将提供每一部影片的简介和预告片，以及连接至各售票平台的“线上观看”或“影院观看”购票按钮。购票详情请浏览场地/票务页面。
SCFF 2022 ticket sales will start on Thursday, 14 April 2022. On the SCFF 2022 website (www.scff.sg), each film has a dedicated page on which you will find a description of the film, and a trailer. You will also find a button labelled “Watch Online” or “Watch in Cinema”, which will redirect you to the respective ticketing platforms. For the details, please go to the Venues and Ticketing page.
为什么我无法购买单张票？
Why does the system allow me to only purchase tickets in pairs, when I need just one?
所有在电影院的场次，门票都是成对出售（买两张），这是为了尽可能令每个影厅能同时让更多人观影。若想要买单张戏票，可直接联系相关电影院寻求协助。感谢大家谅解，并支持本地戏院。
Due to differences in individual hall layout as well as to comply with existing Safe Distancing Measures, kindly note that tickets to SCFF’s in-cinema screenings will be sold in pairs to allow as many film lovers as possible to watch our films. Please seek assistance directly from the cinema(s) if you wish to purchase single tickets. We seek your kind understanding on this and thank you for helping keep everyone safe while supporting local cinemas and the movie industry.

Will there be an unlimited number of tickets available for each film screened online?

No, ticket numbers for online screenings will be limited to capacities comparable to that of physical cinema spaces.
是否在世界各地都可以观赏到电影节的影片？
Will I be able to watch from anywhere in the world?

All films will be geo-blocked to Singapore audiences and only accessible from within the country. Unfortunately, we cannot make new films available across the world without potentially hurting their future distribution and exhibition options, which is a key concern to us.
新加坡以外的媒体能否观看到线上影片？
Will media press from outside of Singapore be granted access to the online films?

Will industry members from outside of Singapore be granted access to the online films? How about the cast and crew of selected overseas films?

Unfortunately, no. All online films will be geo-blocked to Singapore audiences and only accessible from within the country.
哪些浏览器和网络适合用于观看线上影片？
What are the supported browsers and networks?
苹果操作系统MAC OS 10.12或更新的版本：Safari浏览器。
微软视窗Windows 7、8.1、10：Google Chrome、Microsoft Edge及Brave三种浏览器皆宜。
请使用宽频或光缆网络。使用拨号网络将无法观看影片。如果你观看的是高清串流影片，我们建议你使用有线或光缆网络，而4G或其他网络或会不够流畅。
MAC OS 10.12 or later: Only Safari browser is supported for the best experience. Google Chrome and Firefox are not supported on the Mac.
Windows 7, 8.1, 10: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Brave are the only supported browsers for the best viewing experience.
You will need a broadband or fibre internet connection; dial up will not work. For High Definition (HD) streaming we recommend cable or fibre connections as we cannot guarantee consistent HD streaming on 4G or other networks.

Will I be able to watch the films on my mobile phone or tablet?

Yes, you can watch the films using the iOS App or Android App on your mobile phone or tablet.
能否用电视机观赏线上影片？
Will I be able to watch the films on my TV screen?
你可以通过Chrome网络浏览器的Chromecast功能、或是安卓（Android）器材和安卓App、或是苹果iPad和iPad App把影片接驳至电视机。
Yes, you can Chromecast from a Chrome web browser, or from an Android device using the Android app, or from an iPad using the iPad app.
线上影片是否具备隐藏式字幕、视频描述及/或欣赏影片的其他选择？
Will the online films be available with closed captioning, video description and/or other accessibility options?
我们力求为所有线上影片提供这些功能，但不尽相同，这有赖于个别影片原本的格式。
We aspire to make these available for all online films. However, the potential availability of these options will vary title-by-title, dependent on what has been made available to us.
如何在线上放映平台开设账号？
How do I create an account on KinoLounge?
你必须在线上放映平台KinoLounge开设一个账号才能租片和观赏影片。请点击该平台右上角的“Create Account”账号开设按钮。
To rent and watch the online films, you will need to create an account on KinoLounge. Once on the platform, simply click on the “Create Account” button at the top right to create your account.
线上影片播放及有效期
How and for how long can I access my rented film?
完成租片交易后，相关影片将自动加入到你的存档（Library）内。请登入你的账号，点击右上角的“Signed in as (你的账号名称)”，选择“My Library”，你将看到你的租片名单。
如果你在电影节开幕之前租片，便可在4月29日至5月13日之间随时开始播放影片。如果你在电影节期间（2022年4月29日至5月8日）租片，则可在14天内随时开始播放影片。比方说，如果你在5月8日租片，你最迟可在5月22日开始播放影片。
一旦你点击“Play”开始播放影片后，租片的48小时时限即开始计算，你在这48小时内可无限次观看影片。
Purchasing a film ticket, also known as “renting”, automatically adds the film to your Library. When logged into your account on our streaming platform, click on ‘Signed in as (your username)’ at the top right of the screen and select ‘My Library’, where you will find all films that you have rented.
You have 14 days to start watching a film. If you rent a film before the festival opening date, you can start watching it anytime from 29 April until 13 May. If you rent a film during the festival (29 April to 8 May 2022), you have 14 days to start watching it. For example, if you rent a film on 8 May, you will have until 22 May to start watching it.
Once you have started watching a film (the Play button is pressed), you will have 48 hours to watch the movie as many times as you want.
如何输入租片优惠码？
How do I use the promo code for the online movie?
选好影片，点击“Rent”之后，在金额栏目内选择“I have a promo code.”，然后输入优惠码。金额将随之改为折扣价或$0.00（取决于你所输入的优惠码）。
After clicking “Rent” on your desired movie, check the “I have a promo code.” box and apply the promo code. You should see that the cost is now the discounted price or $0.00 (depending on the promo code you have entered).
为什么新加坡华语电影节的线上影片显示“在你的地区无法观看此片”（”Not Available in your country”)
Why is the online SCFF film indicated as “Not Available in your country”?
这是因为电影节仍未开始售票。一旦开始售票，将会显示租片价格，你便可开始租片。KinoLounge线上放映单元将于2022年4月14日（星期四）开始售票。
This indicates that ticket sales have not started. Once ticket sales start, the Rent price of a film will be shown and you will be able to make your purchase. For SCFF 2022, ticket sales at KinoLounge will start on Thursday, 14 April 2022.
