This film is a classic Sammo Hung film from the 80s, not only representing Mr. Hung’s trademark martial arts-comedy, but also marks the start of HK’s era of famous zombie movies.
It tells the tale of Cheung, a cuckolded husband, sent on a roller coaster ride of spooky encounters when his wife’s wealthy lover tries to kill him with black magic. Cheung defies his enemies in an uproarious comedy, featuring hopping vampires, supernatural possession, copious splashing of chicken blood and relentless chanting, all mixed with an exhilarating dose of Kung Fu and slapstick humour.
